An upgrade to the Student Portal application will take place on Wednesday 29 May, between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

The Student Portal should still be available during the upgrade, but will be at risk.

Fake email messages with the title: "picture and video message MMS" have been arriving on campus. Do NOT open the attachment. Delete and ignore.

The 'eduroam' Wi-Fi network is changing. You need to reconfigure your eduroam login to the format (username)@lancaster.ac.uk eg bloggsj@lancaster.ac.uk - on all your laptops, smartphones, tablets and other devices that you use on the eduroam network. If you don't change your login setting, your connection to eduroam will stop working. Follow the 'More Information' link for full instructions.

Tuesdays 07:00 to 09:00 - 'Network at Risk' for Janet and Internet access.
Tuesdays 06:00 to 09:00 - 'Network at Risk' for the University network.
Wednesdays 13:00 to 18:00 - 'Systems at Risk' any University central server could be unavailable for maintenance.
Saturdays 19:00 to 24:00 - 'System at Risk' for the Library. For short periods it may not be possible to check out, return/renew books and pay fines.

Wherever possible, at least 7 days notice is given of work during the Systems or Network 'at risk' periods.
