During the network at risk period on Tuesday 5th June important software updates will be applied to the network equipment in Bowland, HR, Infolab, ISS Building, LICA and the Sports Centre. Work will begin at 06:00 and should be complete by 08:30. During the upgrade work each building is likely to have around 20 minutes of network downtime. This will also affect phones in these buildings with extension numbers 10xxx.

Fake DHL 'parcel tracking' messages have been arriving on campus. Treat DHL messages with caution. Do not open attachments or follow links in the DHL messages.

Tuesdays 07:00 to 09:00 - 'Network at Risk' for JANET and Internet access.
Tuesdays 06:00 to 09:00 - 'Network at Risk' for the University network.
Wednesdays 13:00 to 18:00 - 'Systems at Risk' any University central server could be unavailable for maintenance.

Wherever possible, at least 7 days notice is given of work during the Systems or Network 'at risk' periods.
